Sometimes it's difficult to decide when a photo is still a photo. Back in the dark-ages of dark-rooms, it was legitimate to dodge, burn, double expose and alter and abuse photographs in all sorts of ways. And as far as i can tell, it was still called photography. Yet i have seen some comments on DA where folk are of the opinion that post-processing work...or presumably too much post-processing (whatever that would be arbitrarily defined as), transforms a photograph into a 'digital manipulation'. Personally - while i am relaxed about such definitions - i do try to organise my artwork into the proper DA categories. But i wonder where the bord

For the last few years i have directed this towards creating a possible life for myself: New hemisphere, language, culture, relationships and maybe a career change. Me, version 2.1. Of necessity i have submerged myself in language and cultural studies as a primary focus. Thats left little time for other, more artistic outlets.
